Dr. Joanna-Lynn Borgogna Joins the WHIT Faculty In Summer, 2025

Dr. Joanna-Lynn’s research takes a collaborative, community-centered, and culture-informed approach to understanding how lifestyle practices, psychosocial stress, and social determinants shape the urogenital microenvironment. A central focus of this work is advancing health equity by serving underrepresented populations, including postmenopausal women and Native American communities. In recognition of the excellence of this work, Joanna-Lynn received an NIH K99-R00 award. She also teaches multiple courses at TouroCOM-MT in public health and epidemiology.
